Caught a Long Wind

Hey everyone! Feel like it's been a while (probably because it has been lol). The past two weeks have been busy, exciting, new, etc! I began a new venture in my career and have recently started working for a leading Canadian media company called Rouge Media Group, as their new marketing & social media coodinator! Despite the fact that it's only been a mere two weeks, I can already tell you that I LOVE it. The team is amazing, the space is stunning, the environment in general is motivating and energized... and I just feel like everything has fallen into place lately. 

On to the outfit :) All my fellow Torontonians out there know just how much of a downer mother nature has been with the non-stop rain these past two weeks! SO glad that the sun finally made an appearance today after what felt like foreeeeeeever. Haha. Regardless of the rain, it's getting awfully cold much faster this year than I expected. I have a feeling I'll have to pull out the parka next week! *womp*

I found this dress at Value Village a few weeks back! You can't really see because of my jacket, but the skirt part of the dress is a wrap that knots right at the hip -- giving the dress a bit of an Isabel Marant-esque feel, which made me fall in love with the dress as soon as I yanked it off of the rack! I decided to toughen up the floral print with my Mackage moto-style jacket.
